The Cisco CCNA Wireless IUWNE qualification recognizes the critical importance of professionals supporting wireless LANS including Networking Associates/Administrators, Wireless Support Specialists and WLAN project managers. Other foundation level exams are the CCNA Security and CCNA Voice.

About the Cisco Wireless IUWNE

The CCNA Wireless Certification validates candidate's skills in the configuration, implementation and support of wireless LANs, specifically those networks using Cisco equipment. Students completing the recommended Cisco training are provided with information and practice activities to prepare them for, configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting basic tasks of a Cisco WLAN in SMB and Enterprise networks. Employers will be able to validate their staff have the skills needed for basic wireless networking on a Cisco WLAN in SMB and enterprise networks after completing certification.

During your course you will learn how to:

	Describe WLAN fundamentals
	Install a basic Cisco wireless LAN
	Install Wireless Clients
	Implement basic WLAN Security
	Operate basic WCS
	Conduct basic WLAN Maintenance and Troubleshooting

In order to take the CCNA IUWNE exam you will need to be a current CCNA. In order to attend the course you do not need to be a CCNA but you should have equivalent experience.

Your CCNA Wireless weekend will be delivered by a mixture of short presentations followed by practical exercises using your own rack of Cisco equipment. This is the same method used successfully by over 900 Cisco CCNA students taught using Networks Inc. intensive weekend learning model.

Questions

You do not need to be a current CCNA to attend the course but in order to take the exam you will need to have passed the Cisco CCNA routing (640-801 or 640-802).

The exam number is 640-721 IUWNE Implementing Cisco Unified Wireless Networking Essentials. The exam can be booked at your local testing centre via www.vue.com
